During the course of the academic year there are numerous events thought out school. Some of our events are listed below:

World Book Day/Roald Dahl Day

Children come dressed as their favourite book characters in order to celebrate a love of literature.

Harvest Assembly

We hold a special harvest assembly and all the food that the children donate is sent to The Black Country Foodbank which helps people in crisis by giving them three days emergency food.

Farmers Fayre

Our Friends of Lapal supports a Farmers Fayre. We have lots of stalls for parents and children and classes make autumnal crafts and Scarecrows to display around school

KS1 Christmas Evening

The children come back to school dressed in their pyjamas and watch ‘The Snowman’ whilst drinking hot chocolate and eating cookies. Santa drops in to visit too!

Remembrance Day Activities

The children undertaken a variety of activities including writing poetry, learning remembrance songs and planting poppies. A special assembly is also held.
