Jacqueline Wilson Visit
On Thursday 4th May, our Jacqueline Wilson competition winners attended The Earls High school to listen to Jacqueline Wilson speak about her latest books and the journey she had been on to become a successful author.
The children were fascinated when listening to her and were amazed that, even at the age of 77, each morning before she starts her day, she writes between 500 and 1,000 words. This includes birthdays, Christmas and New Year.
The pupils were able to be part of a question-and-answer session and also had the wonderful opportunity to personally meet and greet her on the stage. As an extra surprise, they were presented with a copy of 'The Primrose Railway Children'. The children were impeccably well-behaved, and we look forward to attending further events in the future.
